Ana Sartorius

Master Student 2024

Ana was born in Madrid (2000). She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from the University of Alcalá (Madrid) and spent her fourth year studying at the Università degli Studi di Perugia (Italy) through the Erasmus+ mobility program. During her final year of university, she completed an internship at the Biochemistry laboratory of Hospital Ramón y Cajal, where she discovered her passion for data analysis. Currently, she is applying bioinformatics tools to study various brain-related diseases. To pursue this interest, she joined the Brain Metastasis Group at CNIO to work on her Master’s Thesis in Bioinformatics (ISCIII), focusing on astrocyte subtypes in this context. Her next goals include pursuing a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics to deepen her expertise and contribute to the field.
