Oliva Sánchez de Diego

Senior laboratory technician

Oliva was born in El Escorial (Madrid) in 1984. She first obtained the technical degree on Pathological Anatomy and Cytology in 2006 with an internship at the Cajal Institute (Department of Functional and Systems Neurobiology) and in 2008 the degree on Clinical Diagnostic Laboratory with an internship at San Carlos Clinical Hospital. Since mid-2008 she worked as caretaker and animal facility technician at the CNIO specializing in the handling, care and well-being of laboratory animals, as well as performing multiple experimental techniques and procedures. Oli joined the Brain Metastasis Group in 2021 to provide expert support with the management of mice colonies and to perform experimental procedures in different research projects.
